There's shutup.css, which automatically blocks comments on every site it supports -- but for Chrome users, Comment Blocker is a much more flexible option. It not only blocks comment sections on most sites, but it also allows you to whitelist or blacklist URLs -- either individually, using the black and white buttons above, or by creating filter patterns in the Comment Blocker options.
And that's not where the configuration ends -- not by a long shot! You can set up a personalized hotkey to activate and deactivate the blocker, hide, collapse, or replace comments with a predefined phrase like "Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!"
Comment Blocker also automatically remembers which sites you've blocked during the current session and keeps them blocked until you restart your browser.
Really, Comment Blocker is a lot like AdBlock for comments, and it's every bit as effective and flexible. It's a must-have Chrome extension for users who enjoy Web-based reading with minimal interference.
